Laurie Michelson – Stylist & CEO
Stylist since 1985. Salon owner since 1988. I love every aspect of the hair industry. I specialize in color, hair extensions (human and synthetic), cutting and relaxing hair. I am certified to do Coppolla Keratin Treatments. I am an educator for Dome Cosmetics since 1988 for synthetic hair extensions. I have had the wonderful opportunity to have worked in Paris for two years. I have and continue to take numerous advanced education with Aveda for cutting and coloring. I am lucky to work with a great team of people here at Hair Cult that inspire me.
Jennifer Oneill – Stylist
I have been in the industry for 11 years. I enjoy everything about hair coloring, cutting, makeup, upstyles and conditioning treatments. I am certified to do Coppolla Keratin Treatments. Hair Cult is a home away from home and I love all of our guests. I have not only grown here as a stylist but as a person.
Mariela Vivero – Stylist
I have been a stylist for 15 years and been a part of the Hair Cult team for 8 of those 15 years. I have attended continuing education at Aveda, Wella, L’oreal, and Vidal Sassoon. I specialize in creating natural looking color and highlights and completing looks with a fabulous haircut. My vision is to create an environment where my guests are at ease to express themselves and their ideas. I feel that I can never stop learning.
Lindsy Vitillo – Stylist
I have been a hair designer for 5 years. Born and raised at the jersey shore, I started my career in Red Bank before coming up to Hair Cult. I am educated in all Aveda color systems, products and treatments. I am also certified in Coppolla Keratin Treatments and enjoy doing multidimensional color for men and women. I love working at Hair Cult for its friendly environment, inspiring coworkers and Leche. I love hanging with my dog Yaeger.
Alexandra Kress – Junior Stylist
In the past year I attended cosmetology school at Artistic Academy in Morris Plains, NJ. I have also been certified in fashion and glamour makeup, and I achieved this certification at Empire beauty school in Manhattan,NY. I have been working at Hair Cult as an assistant for the past year. My goal is to keep working my way up in this salon, so I will one day be a senior stylist on the floor. I enjoy working with these motivated and talented team of people, along with the friendly clientele that come in every day.
Jade Hynes – Guest Services
I am an expert multi-tasker who fell in love with the hair industry when I was 16. I love helping our guest with all of their customer service needs and helping my crew stay on their toes. I enjoy baking, makeup, and adventuring in my spare time. I take pleasure in being organized and putting a smile of the faces of my Hair Cult family.
Leche Greeter
I have been with my Hair Cult family for 3 years. I was born in Florida but my parents are from Cuba. I love greeting all of our amazing guests. Some of them are scared of me but I have only love to give. Woof!!!
